We now have over 80 people using Elvanto at DVBC (with the number expected to grow); all those who already have access will be able to use the "Faith Engagement Directory" - which will give phone and email contact details for others involved in the life of the church.

It is suggested that you search the directory for your own name. It should appear ONLY if you have given permission for this to occur.  Check to see if this is true.  If you now want to change this, you can do so!

Just access "My Profile" (can be found by placing mouse over your name at top right corner).  Oncve in your profile, the grey / black area on the LHS will give you the option to "Hide / Show my profile"; click to change if necessary.

Also, it is possible to amend how your profile appears via "PrivacySettings" - immediately below (unless you have requested your profile to be hidden).  Clicking on this will bring up 6 green coloured fields.  You can either show (bright = standard setting) or hide (dull) any of these fields.  Whatever you do should immedaitely show in the "Faith Engagement Directory".

Those who have already logged in should have seen the Faith Engagement Directory in the Member Area (if you cannot see it, hold the mouse over your name - top right corner of screen - and click on Member Area

Let's search for the fictitious Buster Long using "uste" (the middle portion of his name)

No dice!  we have to use the beginning of his first or last name

This view gives you the details as above (but ONLY because he has given approval for such

Then, clicking on his name, we see

Again, he can allow or block his photo from being seen; the blue button above allows you to contact him; by clicking on it, you have the option to send him an email (which will work, but dogs rarely read emails) or send an SMS (this may not work yet as we are testing this at present)
